Mobile Bay Reef Keepers

Hello all, I have a spag. leather that suffered a blow from an over anxious margarita snail pushing a rather large rock and making it topple over onto the top of my spag. leather.
When I removed the rock I noted the leather's trunck was bent and had a permenant crease. I know note and this is a few days later that it is dissatching from its base. The trunk material is a fluffy white underneath and near the detached part but I see no slime or discoloration to lead me to believe there is any necrosis.
I am asking the more savvy folks to tell me what if anything I should do.
I'm not keen on doing nothing but I am also not keen on doing an overkill thing here to. Please advise

how is the coral looking overall? It may just be a matter of wedging it between some rocks to reattach it.

Actually it was out in force today. I noted that some of the skin was ripped leaving some bare spots on the branches and a small branch fell off. There is a little darkening around the very base of the trunk but all in all it's very healthy looking.
I placed a small shell under the rock to tilt the coral against the dissattached spot, I was told not to apply any type of glue and to try and let it place it's foot down itself. So I was going to leave it alone. How long if it decides to reattach will it take for it to do just that?
