Mobile Bay Reef Keepers

Well, here I am with the various aquariums that fill every spot in my house. My 120 gallon sits stewing with sand, one massive rock and a few small rocks from the 75 and 10 or so inches of water for the second month, waiting for the little sandbed critters to build up.

So I was looking at it today, as I do every day, and low and behold I found a tiny young cerith snail all by itself on a rock. I was surprised, kind of felt sorry for the little fella all by himself in that big ol' tank. I got him a couple of rubble peices from another tank so he would have a little more chance of something to eat.

I have to admit I was a little excited to see him, and at least for this often cynical person.....maybe seeing the little things still does work.

I know the little things in this hobby are what interest me so much. Every day, literally, I see something different in my tank. I can't wait to get home to see what's different every day!

The little things, you mean like the baby starfish with an uneven number of legs, like the ones that are multiplying like crazy in my tank ?

LOL!! Yeah, prolific little buggers, aren't they? I think mine are finally starting to slack off. I haven't had any damage from them, they mainly stay on the glass and rocks.
