Somebody on this Board is having christmas in April. Who could that be Sue?
I saw a brand new 120 gallon aquarium with a nice single overflow in a local store with someones name on it.
I figured I would have already had a call asking where the stand is.

Looks good to me. I didn't give it the micropscopic inspection though.
I like the single overflow.
The brick 120 is one of my favorite tanks.

Sue,
Do you want me to run fiberglass cloth around the bottom inside seam of the stand so that it will hold water when you coat the inside?

Phil, yeah..sounds good. Been varnishing doors at the beach, mainly recoats of the ones I refinished last year. I should be in good "wood finishing" shape.
Casey, two votes for looks good and I feel pretty confident. I really wanted to do it in the starfire glass, but I think I'll be happy spending the money on the stand.

Ok, I am willing to admit I'm not as young as I used to be.
Got the tank today, and it's sweet! But it's a heavy SOB. Got the burly young guy that works for Becky to come and help me get it into the house. It wasn't too bad from the truck down the sidewalk to the steps, and I barely made it up those.

That's ok, we did it. I'm gonna be complaining tomorrow, I have the feeling. But it's here.
I think it's a hot bath, cold beer kind of night.

I was still in age denial....

But thanks, I'll remember that. I do know I'm definately going to have to support the floor joists for this tank.
