They're 4 years old and have lived in a 1" 90 elbow since they were babies, maybe if I get her a bigger 90 she'll try it instead.

Momma perc. clown has decided her lovely home is just not big enough anymore....and has eggs to deposit. So she's decided she wants under my large Caulastrea.....and since there's not a big enough spot to get under and turn around she'll just annoy it as much as possible and make one. Needless to say, the Caulastrea isn't happy at all, I think pissed is more like it. She's really nipping it.
