After having ANOTHER mag pump go out, this one on Amy's 29 gallon i am done with Mag. Instead i am going Eheim because they have such a good name. Premium Aquatics is carrying them now. Here is a quote from there web site.

We are now carrying EHEIM pumps. They will be instock hopefully be Feb 7th. Eheim prices are higher then traditional Rio's and similar pumps, but they rarely have problems. We have customers report to us that there eheims has lasted 10 years on several occasions. With so many rio problems and even Mag problems. We want to offer the best solution to our customers. So if Eheim has a size that suits your need, we highly recommend paying the extra money and not worry about your pump.

For what it's worth, I have three pumps made by Dolphin. One is a DP 1200 originally designed for ponds but suitable for SW. I am now running that along with 2 Dolphin Ampmaster 3000's. They are quiet, clean and resonably priced. You may want to check it out.

Sorry I should have been more specific.....they Dolphin line includes smaller DP line pumps. The best part is the manufacturer has a distribution center in Pensacola and I have a wholesale account with them. Let me know if I can help!

Yeah i am interested, the Dolphin line DP-560 would be around what i need. It will barely fit the sump !! Marine depot has it can they beat there price ?
