Mobile Bay Reef Keepers

Anyone ever see the tank at the Orange Beach welcome center? It's setup by reef scapes, although it still lists thier gulf shores #. Anyway I went by there for work a few days ago and they have this LPS I have n idea what it is.

It's skeleton grows in a "wall". At first glance it looks like a combination of a frogspawn and a bubble. The whole skeleton is 1 polyp. It extends about 3" up and on the ends are nickel sized bubbles. But these bubbles have little petrusions coming out. Sort of like it want's to grow tentacles but instead it has little spikey bumps.

I know, great description, but since the holiday weekend is coming up maybe someone will be down there and can clue me in as to what it is.

We are going to be in P'cola this weekend maybe I can con Kev into coming back that way.... Offers of scantly clad females might make him drive that direction....

Tell him you heard that the Orange Beach Welcome Center lady wears a thong to work (just don't tell him she is 60 and 300 lbs).

sounds like a pearl bubble coraL, similar to the regular bubble but has spikes on the bubbles...
