Thinking of the G-3 or G-4. Does anyone here have one? Reeferpuffer, doesn't Amazon use them? Did you like them?

I don't have one yet but I want a G4. They are the same basic thing as Euro Reef so they are efficient.

I really want to know how loud they are? I remember someone telling me that they were noisy. I think??

I think Scott has the idea, The G-4 has a larger volume reaction chamber
and it uses the same pump as the G-3. More dwell time!! I think I have made a decision. I am ordering tonite.

Reeferpuffer has one, it's one of the larger ones, and have heard him mention he loves it.

I ordered an ASM G-2 and it came broken, due to poor packaging, so went with a MRC instead.

The one thing I noticed because this was broken , the base of them is some pretty thin and flimsy pvc. Then again, I think any skimmer would break if you dropped it, even cell cast acrylic isn't impervious to rough-housing.

I went ahead and ordered the G-4 today. Where and how much did you get yours from? I went with Roes, they have it for $370 and at my door for $396.99. That is the best I could find it for. Champion has it listed for $429.90. I think I did pretty good. The only problem is that they don't stock them or do they drop ship. So now I have to wait on the to get it and then resend it to me. Said it takes about a week and a half.

I remember seeing Reeferpuffers G4 and the chamber on it was absolutely huge. I was very impressed as to the craftsmanship.

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be happy with it. Slowly but surely I'm getting there. I have all new equipment just trying to decide on a Ca reactor and closed loop pump(s). I'm not real sure which pump(s) to use yet. I am waiting on my stand and still have to drill the tank but I will have it up by the end of this month!!!

I like my K2R calcium reactor. I think there are some that are better. Andy at My Reef Creations can make you a good one for a good price. Max is happy with his. As for CL pumps I think the Ampmaster or Sequence are the best. The new Sequence Reefflo series are very affordable but I have read that they are not as quiet as the 1000 series olr the Ampmasters.

Negative. The G-4 comes with a sedra 5000. And yes I have plenty of room, as a matter of fact, I will be able to squeeze a MRC CR-2 dual chamber reactor as well.
