Melissa,
We didn't really get to finish our conversation at the meeting about the porcelain crab. What do they look like? Are they hard to keep?

We have one of those, but the person that sold it to us called it an anemone crab not a porcelain crab.

Yeah, same thing, different names... VERY cool critters... I had one for a few months, until my perc decided to host in my carpet, thus killing the crab that was already hosting in it :(

Before Ivan I had a dozen or so of them that came in on my rock. I will probably be looking for a few of them again in the future they are really cool to watch, and love it when you clean the glass.

The one I sold was a white anemone crab. I also had a few porcelain crabs. Different colored and a little larger the the white one. The white one would eat mysids from your hand.

The one we had lived on the carpet anemone that Josh now has. He was really cool. Waved his "hands" and filter fed through them. Picked up stuff from the sand bed, fed the anemone but wouldn't let anyone else near him. :)

He'd molt quite often which was surprising to see as it looked like he had died.

Since I've put mine in my tank, I've not seen him.

Hopefully he's just hiding.
