the rest of the corals are attached to large rocks and are in buckets. I will have to dremel them off.

Here is a before pic from a few months ago

Shawn is the those rare white corals everyone was talking about. How much do you want for them? Just kidding, We are very sorry to see your tank go. Give us a call if you need any help with the house (clean up) or anything.

I think the next meeting we should all bring as much stuff as possible to give to everybody that lost there tanks to get them started again.

That's just sick man. I don't have much except frags but I can donate some things. How did the fish in your 180 do?

Considering you went from this:

to the slimer in the picture above in 13 months I have decided two things. One is that you should never even think about giving up and two is that you are doing something to your tank and are keeping it secret so that the rest of us poor slobs look like we are underachievers.

Thanks for all the sentiments guys (and gals). We have such a wonderfull group of people in our Reef Club.

Thanks for all the offers of frags. I might take some of you up on them in the future. For now I just wish I could get the rock and sand back in there and see what the cycle does. My house seems so dark without the glow of 1000 watts of light :D

Thanks for the compliment Scott. No secrets here... alot of what I did with my tank came straight from advice from you. Funny you should post that pic of my green sinulara and green slimer.... out of all the corals that I had...many more expensive and hard to get....those two were my favorite corals and the hardest to say goodbye too.

As far as giving up...... well, I love it too much. Leaving now would make what I have learned a waste. Plus I don't deal with defeat too well

So expect to see me buying a generator this week. Looking for a few chromis.... and some blue leg hermits.... then who knows what will happen this time around.... one thing I know... I will have fun with it along the way.
