Ok here is my question, I am stumped. When Billy bought this rock (1st pic) he was told it is a hairy bullseye. I have searched for one on the net with no luck. But, I did find the second pic that classified it as a giant Zoa. Yesterday, one jumped to another rock

Any ideas?

It might one of those mini anemones.... you can do a search on RC for more information. I remember reading about these before, but it's been awhile. Either way, it looks pretty cool.

zoos.
pretty too
you can tell by the double row of tentecles they have.
probally just a real nice matting variety.what do they look like clossed? Take a turkey baster and shooot then and snap a shot when they all close up.
I have never heard of giant zoos. they come in all sizes though.
I have heard of majano protopalyothoa but those are deffinately not them.

palyothoas only have one row of tentacles on them.
zoanthids have that tight double row.

Now that I have a few of these (4), I'd like to know if you experts ever decided what they are?
