I am thinking about going down to west pass one night and catching some of those pepermint shrimp. I might go this coming weekend if anybody is interested in going.

Do you think we could catch some of those pipe fish at night? If so, I might be in.

We and our neighbors are going this coming weekend. We need to devise something that can suck then up out of the structure, the nets get tore up.

If you load up on shrimp I will take some off your hands.

I was told if we could devise a suction apparatus, you could 100s in a few mins. We need to put our thinking caps on Anyone have any idea if sand fleas are reef safe? Our friends got several last night of good size and they just dig right on down in the sand.

I tried sand fleas once before, but they just disapeared. I think they need the crashing surf to survive.

I wouldn't put the sand fleas in a reef tank. They will disturb the anaerobic layer of the sand bed.

For a suction device why not a PVC pipe with a smaller piece of pvc that has a cap on the end. That way you could hold the larger piece and pull the smaller piece. If you catch something you could puch it back out into a bag. I'm sure it would have to be adjusted to get good suction.

Or you can use a slurp gun. I've got one and they have one at underwater works for sale.

AWESOME----peppermint shrimp for all!!! Well if Jason doen't mind bringing it with? Anyone want some of these cute blennies, or even some that are like 2x the width of your thumb and 4 - 6" long let us know. Jason do you know what they are asking for the slurp gun, or rough idea what they go for.

Walmart use to sell a watergun similar to what Scott's suggesting. The end could be cut off maybe...
