What is the best why to get rid of aiptasia and not hurt any of the other corals on the rocks?

Use a needle or turkey injector to inject with boiling ro water.

i agree with tbmoore, but make sure you get every bit of the thing. Try not to leave any of it or it will just grow back.

If you get them pretty good they usually melt of the rock, once they do that you will not see them again. They are a nuisance but aren't as bad as Xenia !

What is wrong with Xenia?

I might be wrong, but I think they are talking about the rate it grows and takes over if you don't confine it.

Yeah, when you get it keep it separated from other rocks unless you just want a Xenia reef.
There is a product called Joe's Juice for getting rid of Apstasia. You can also try: kalk (thick as will go through a needle) injection, vinegar injection, boiling hot water injection. I don't have any apstasia but I do have mojano's. If you can inject them from the side and then stick the needle through the stalk and keep pressure on it like you are prying it up they will let go and you can remove them.

about pulling them off, shouldn't you wait until they are dead or else they release a bunch of "seeds" causing them to spread even more?

Well if you inject them with Kalk or Vinegar they basically melt off, no removal necessary and no chance of spreading.
