Frogspawn, went from 4 heads to 9 in just 1 1/2 months..

FYI Frogspawn is a LPS ( large polyp stony ) for a example monti cap is a SPS ( small polyp stony). I didn't know what a SPS or a LPS was for awhile until I started coming to the meetings. At first I thought they where types of species of coral. Stuff like zenia, devils hand, and zoos are refered to as softies. Little Monti i got from John is at least 10 times bigger, and i got it in January.

1.Montipora (orange capricornis and digitata and a reddish capricornis)
2. Seriotopora caliendrum
3. Green Acropora prostrata
4. Acropora micropthalma (I don't have that one but I have hear that their growth rate is stunning)

Agree with caps. Also maybe green toothpick, green slimer and my purp digi really grows fast.

The green toothpick coral is one that John has that looks like a deep water acro that has very thin branches and grows pretty fast. I will look for a picture of mine.

I dont seem to have a photo and I traded my piece. I dont know the "real name" but almost everyone has a piece, I'm sure someone will chime in.

OK, Scott or John... anyone willing to frag a piece off for me? I'll pay/trade, but I want at least 3 or 4 branches (small is OK). I've found that a few branches take-off much better than a single stag.
