Im so happy! My chromis finally came out from hiding!!!! I think that he is finally adjusted. He's been swimming around and watching me. He looks interested in the rest of the tank. He's swimming everywhere! Im was getting worried about him staying in his "cave" for the last two days. And this afternoon, I looked over at the tank and he was swimming there looking at me. He even poses for the camera!

Bad news for Milton...Looks like he wedged himself into a tight spot last night. I woke up this morning to find him against the side glass with his head jammed between two big pieces of LR. I think he must of suffocated, and the sad part is...there was WAY too much live rock to even get to him. So i picked up a cleanup crew today and when I got home from my parents tonight....miltons body was completely gone!! They did a really quick job. To replace him I bought a blue devil....he eats like a pig!!!! Im glad..Cause Milton didnt eat much.

More than likely he died from a tank condition i hate to say, or from stress depending on how much he went through before he got to you. Fish almost never get stuck between any rocks, believe me he did not get stuck.

well it might have been stress...but this new guy is eating really well and is very interested in everything around him. isnt acting paranoid or anything.

It could have been for the way the fish was caught before the store got it, there are alot of things that can make a fish die. I've had them die on me a day or two after putting them in my tank.

I totally agree with Snakeman, fish are under too much stress already before you get them. One more stressfull event like another acclimation and dumping into a new environment yet again puts the lid on the coffin.
