If your using a Cable modem or static IP, broadcast the IP number at port 8080 in a java window and peoeple can view it on that page.

Just a suggestion...There is a free program that allows anyone to see your web cam and does not have to have yahoo....Also remember where you place your cam....reflections in the glass has embaressed many a person or wife....In mine it is a see thru tank and if not carful can walk in kitchen after a shower and forget the cam....Not a pretty sight.....

This program or site also has some great icons ect to place on your home page to take you to your cam...

Signup with dyndns.org and Run DynDNS, the domain name you choose will always refer to your ip even when it changes.
I run webcam32 and camerpad moving for mine.

If anyone is looking for a great webcam option check out the picturetel ptz-2 (or 1) on ebay, you can get them for cheap, and can either make or buy a control interface for it. You need a capture card or a usb capture option though. I have mine centrally located in the living room, and can move and zoom it to look at anything.
