Potential For MAJOR Disaster

No, I am not dead.
Yes, I still have the monster tank and yes, everything is growing like crazy. The purple edge green cap is the size of a basketball.
You guys need to come over soon.
And, unfortunately, you may have the opportunity. Charlie and I have found a small crack near the bottom of our monster tank in the front. We know it has not been there too long but do not know how or why the tank cracked. We marked the spot with a permanent marker so as to watch the progression (if any).
We think we can put an acrylic patch on it if it starts to crack further up the tank, but as you well know, a disaster may strike before we have the chance. Right now we are in "watch and see" mode. You just don't have any other choice when you are dealing with a tank this size.
In the event that the damn thing gives way, or we are forced to dismantle it, we will most definately need assistance. Anyone that can lend a hand with the demolition, will be welcome. Anyone that can house critters, whether they be swimming, crawling or sessile will be badly needed and will be so appreciated.
One thing is for sure, if it goes we will not have another tank this size but rather 2 smaller ones...like 180's or 220's or something. Lordy I hope we don't have to go there!
Anyway....keep your fingers crossed and keep the prayer chain going...
