Nassarius Snails

Who all has Nassarius snails from Liz ? I picked up some from her months ago and they are breeding like crazy and alot of the babies are getting shells. This is the first snails i have had grow in captivity other than the junk brown/white snails.

I have 6. I have not seen any signs of them breeding yet, but I just got them at the last meeting.

I have some and it looks like they have been busy...looked in the rubble pile the other day and lots of babys. I think I see plenty of eggs....small white pod sacks about 16th in long on the rock but not sure....

Yeah Terry that is what they look like. I see some on the rocks but more on the glass. Since we moved Amy's tank they have not been as busy reproducing. I hope they start back soon.

All mine are on the rocks...course I clean my glass every day.

Some one bring me some of those RABBIT snail to the meeting
reminds me of that check card comercial with the rabbits

Yes they are but not all will live. I would see the eggs turn a white color then the sacks break. The small ones will move to the outside of the pocket and eat around the immediate area for a day. You really do not see them again after that until they get there shells. Then you will see how fast they grow.

I have only seen the babys once about week ago...all in one area and then they all went and hid by morning
