I thought it might be interesting to start a thread on things not to be mixed in a reef tank. Too many times have i burned a coral not knowing, mixed a fish to find it did not get along. I am going to start a couple off the top of my head and everyone feel free to add to it. The first post will have the list and i will add and edit as the thread goes.
FISH

Hey, now, I have to disagree on that

This comes down to a "territory vs. space available" thing. I have kept clowns (maroon and true perc) at least until the maroon disapeared (probably due to either the carpet or the conde anemone), and am keeping three yellow tangs and a purple tang... it all depends on tank size

Grey angel ( AkA Yellow banded coral eater) and corals.
File fish and corals
Butter fly fish and corals.
All these fish sure were fun to catch diving but wasn't very fun trying to catch out of my tank.

It may be a territory thing but I had a couple of different types of clowns that were all very small with an extremely small maroon and the maroon tortured and killed them all.
