Hi thanks your your nice comments, yes that is some Haitiane live rock, and fuji and tonga, the tank has been up for eight years it went from my 55 gallon to a 75 gallon last year, i just replaced some old rock for new to get new life in there, my setup is 75 gallon with a 29gallon ecosystem, i add b-Ionic to maintain calcium, my cal stays at 450, i have 330watts of pc's from PSL, once a week i add potassium iodide 1% solution and thats it, thats all i do.

What seems to thrive best under your PC setup? How long do you run your lights?

Nice coraline. Looks clean too. What skimmer are you using? What else do you do to keep nuisance algae away?

Hi, thanks for all your nice comments, well everything is not only thriving but growing, i just put in a merulina plate coral that was dying under mh setup so i bought it and now its growing, another beautiful saved!, as far as hair algae go's i never had a problem even before i put the ecosystem in there, i don't overfeed, in the ocean fish don't eat every day so i feed every other day, i know its hard every time you walk past the tank you wan't to feed, but that works for me, as far as a skimmer go's i use a remora HOB skimmer witch is undersized for my tank, i only use it once a week just to make my water clear, some corals like a little dirty water, that's why i always research were the coral came from if the dealer can't tell me i don't buy, it seem the ecosystem really works i run 0 nitarits.

I don't feed very much, have a good skimmer, run carbon, have (had) a large clean up crew and I have a hard time with hair algae on a regular basis. You should definately keep doing what you are now.
