I think people probably generally don't have a preference, bring what you like to drink and I'm sure people will "bum" some off you.

Depends on what you like to drink and how much you want to drink of it.
If I have the time to put it in the truck, I'll bring what is left of a keg of Oatmeal Stout, so there should be plenty to go around

Oatmeal Stout, a man after my own heart. I think it's time to fire up the kettle and do some brewing this weekend.

Then we will have a good time Saturday. I just got my new "Williams Brewing" catalogue this week and I going to try all grain brewing for the first time. Are there any good brew shops down along the coast?

Williams is ok, if you're rich and patient, of which I am neither.
http://www.austinhomebrew.com/ usually has the goods to you in 2-3 days because they're fairly close and free ship for orders > $60.
The only store I know of in this area is
http://www.theshadylady.net/
in Pensacola.. Pretty cool store, but have not been there since it changed ownership & Ivan visited.

The neat thing about brewing your own is
A) It's cheaper than going out and buying the amount of beer you'd have to buy to equal the amount of beer you get from brewing
B) You get more beer brewing for the money than you do from buying it
C) It generally tastes better than store bought
D) How freaking cool it is to have a tap on your fridge....waste not want not. No bottles/cans to throw away

Just wash/rinse your glass and you're done man.
Yes, A and B are the same.

Drive thru please.

well if I was going to the trouble of brewing, I'd want something like a nice blended canadian whiskey

Can you do that in the backyard?

I am definitely not going to be there. Devon has a Taekwondo tournament that day and honestly i have no idea how long those things take. I also have to finish the renovation on my mother's bathroom so this weekend looks too busy to make it.

Ok it looks like not that many will be coming so we should be covered with food/drink with what I have and what people have said they will bring. I am guessing about 12 +/-.
