Save an Extra 7.5% at Your Local Store
If you're a Florida resident, pay no tax on selected hurricane supplies from 6/1/05 - 6/12/05. And, when you shop at your local Home Depot store, we'll match the savings by giving you an extra 7.5% off ALL tax-free items. Offer available at Florida The Home Depot stores only from 6/1/05 - 6/12/05. Discount taken at register. See store for complete details.
And I think Home Depot has a 6 months no payments , no interest program. You'll have a hard time beating that deal I would think.
YEah....... Floridians get off cheap..... Also Home Depot ( The Local Stores Anyway) have what I think is a great deal on generators. They have the Colman 6250 Premium Plus with the extended 11 hour run tank (OHV) for $499.00. I think only one store got them in today, and while I was there (Right after they unloaded) they must have sold ten pallates and were still going as fast as they could bring them out.... they did not advertise the price and even there online price was higher.... ... I got mine for $499.00 and with my 10% off coupon, got out the door tax and all under 500 bucks. Not sure if anyone posted this deal already but you might check it out if you are wanting one.

That is a great price on one, which Home Depot did you get it from and where did you get a 10% coupon.

We did alittle research and could not find this exact model for anywhere near that price...it has the portability kit (wheels) too. Got it at the Schillinger road HD. If you want one I would go fast as I don't think they will stay that price or in stock long.. I gota feeling it was a one time deal. I got the coupon from an employee... they were not out for the public that I could see, but maybe ask........ I grabbed a few extra.

I just got back from HD and they must have had 60 or 70 of them left at that same price. I just asked someone for the coupon and they still had some. The coupon is good until the 14th of June though.

thanks for the heads-up Shawn, that's a great deal on a semi-name-brand generator... we even happened to have a HD card to stick it on so we don't have to apy any interest for a few months

Fired up first pull, and a 1500w heatgun didn't phase it.

This one may be the kicker that completely convinces me to move away from the gulf. I'm already looking for land near the Columbia/Nashville area. I have been wanting to move there for a long time, but this may be the final straw. I dont really care for Florida. It's kinda ugly and borring and I actually think Pensacola is a pretty crappy city for many various reasons. I was thinking about moving to Alabama, but I would still have to live with the constant annoyance from the gulf and all of the crap (ie-Hurricanes, storms, stupid tourists) that it brings. I just pretty much want to move away from the ocean!
Mostly, I hate hurricanes! Not really the damage that they bring-that can be fixed. But what I hate more are the idiots freaking out and buying as much of everything as they can fit into 4 shopping carts causing the stores to run out of everything and then causing even more panic. People become evil and cut you off in line at stores and gas stations.
I am pretty well prepared for going a week or two without electricity. But its still the fact that normal people get stupid and the stupid people turn to complete psychos!
Sorry for this rant but I'm just venting. If any of you know of a company near Nashville currently hiring for a graphic artist...Let me know, cause I may be wanting to get out pretty soon.
