Yeah they poop clean sand pellets, very interesting, lol.

Actually, Nassarius don't eat detritus at all. They'll just move it around. Their primary targets are leftover food bits and carrion. If you want a snail that sifts the sand AND eats detritus (and algae), shoot for cerithid snails, like Ceriths, etc.

Correct. Cucumbers do.
