I dont want to hijack your thread KrazyPlace but is that all there is to making the 2 part additive?

Not using a controller (per say), tank fluctuates between 79.5-81 and do not run any fans. I do use a temp controller on my homemade chiller in the crawlspace. I trust the temp controller much more than I would an AQII.
We've been using x-10 stuff for about 6-7 years. They are flakey as hell, lights will be on in the morning that were off when you went to bed, signals won't cross a phase, I know they sell a bridge for this, but I'm too lazy to fool with it. Had quiet a few go out also, I would want them on my tank for anything, but that's just my opinion.

Yes, the two part additive is that simple.

Terry(tbmoore) used a Squid. Xster used a AQII.

I read Terry's post after Katrina hit... what ever happen to him? Did he get his house back together yet?
