Pressure rated is no biggie, usually just a less agressive pitch on the impeller than one rated for max flow. Generally takes me 10 minutes to clean it.... I had a bird on my shoulder and cleaned it in about 8mins tonight... but I still hate the thumbscrews, just something else to lose

The new design negates that argument though.

You wil be VERY happy with it! My old skimmer would've taken a month to remove the same amount of waste this thing removes a day! It has a monster collection cup that I empty daily. I do have it running very wet because I have a small algae bloom. Two thumbs way up. Best thing I've spent my money on so far.

I got my new skimmer in today, this thing is huge. I hope that it will fit under my tank. I will try it in my sump tomorrow.
