oh and i may have you beat with having some of mine survive that shouuld have died. I took all of my rock out of my tank when I got back into town after the hurricane and let it sit in a rubbermaid tub for 2 weeks with the lid on out of water. There is a big patch of my brown/red/pink zoas that seem like they just might make it. They are back in water now and going through the cycle. I'll see down the road.

Drew, have you checked your salinity with a refractometer? Are they in a good flow area? Mine acted very wierd when my SG was too high.

unfortionatly i don't have a refractometer, but i do have 3 of the cheap plastic things and all of them have been as close as they could be i guess. The flow just might be the issue. They were getting blasted in my tank and now they have a maxijet 900 and 600, vs a tunze stream, plus 3 maxijet 1200s. I didn't think flow for them was that much of an issue. I mean you can't get much more flow in that little 26 without causing all kinds of problems with the SD sand.
