Jeff, if they're in abundance, I want some! When are you going, maybe I could hitch a ride or meet you there.

That sounds great, but I don't know yet when I'll go down there. As soon as I figure it out I'll call ya.

The afternoon would be better. The tide will start coming in afterlunch sometime. The water will be a lot clearer with an incoming tide. I'm going to make another attemp tonight at catching some Doctor fish. I should have a lot better chance diving at night. Who all wants one so If I do get some I want get too many. I'm going to sell them for $10 each to cover some of my expences.

They can get pretty big. I'll be lucky to catch one for everybody. I wouldn't put two in a tank together. Remember they are tangs, if you have just two they will probably will fight. Sorry but I can't do buy one get one at half price. It cost me more money that what few fish I can sell for me to go catch them. Tank refills, gas for going down there, gas & oil for the boat plus what it cost for me to make all kinds of catching equipment. Don't worry charging $10 a piece will not cover the cost of my diving trip so I'm not making a profit off anybody. I charge that much so I can keep going. And I can Guarantee that the fish I catch are healthy when I catch them and caught with no Cyanide. You can't get that guarantee for a pet store. I have a much better survival rate from fish I catch over stuff you get in a store.

thats cool..you think a 30g would be big enough for a few months?

yeah. I keep 2 in my 30 gal for a few months. They did fine. They are a very tough fish. I gave my last one away to Liz because it got a little bit too big and it wasn't getting alone yellow tang. Really the yellow tang was the more aggressive. Do you still want 2? In the wild they are in schools but so are most tangs. Something happens when it is just two of them. You can try them and if they fight you could give it to someone else. Just feed them plenty of green just like you would any other tang. I just hope I can get some.

Jason, I'm low on livestock right now, so anything you catch I'll buy off ya, just has to be reef safe, as I have cleaner shrimp and snails.

I'm going to be putting one in with a sailfin tang. I hope the different body shapes will keep them at peace with each other. If they still fight i'll add another tang. I got a hair algae problem I trying to fight. The sailfin doesn't seem to like eating it.
