Yep, we're still around, just quite run down from last months "activities".
Had a lot going on and the icing on the cake was just last week, had to have our 11 year old Lab put to sleep. Just a rotten month pretty much.

Off Topic:
We put in our offer Wednesday afternoon, now we're just playing the waiting game. It needs some work, paint , etc.. but it's around 2900sf and has great bones. It looks to be a real nice neighborhood. We really love the neighborhood we're in but desperately need more space and a garage, and not much has really appealed to us other than this "fixer-upper".
The drive to Atmore everyday would kill us if we moved further south, but we don't want to live in Atmore. We felt like Bay Minette was a good investment with the way it is growing.
PS: I don't even want to think about how I am going to manage to move the tank..... ugh

Yeah but Brandon if you do not move to Mobile, it makes it harder for me to borrow that camera.

Gollum: He wants the precious. Always he is looking for it. And the precious is wanting to go back to him... But we mustn't let him have it.

Part of that is an unfinished basement, the living area is more like 2770. We won't be getting a larger tank. I would like to get a new tank that doesn't have the scratches but definetly don't want a larger one.. just too much humidity to contend with. Haven't really thought about where we're going to put it yet.. I think the dining room will end up being a bird/aquarium room. This gave me a good idea though.. maybe a false wall in this room and put the tank in the false wall with a little utility, equipment room behind it... hrm...
It'll have to wait, we will have too much other work to do to the place to start with. The paint and wallpaper is horrible in every single room, the gutters need replacing, need to restain the deck, there is a soft spot on the roof, etc, etc..we'll be busy for a while
Oh well... we're pretty pumped though, it's about time we buy a house and quit renting this one, It looks like we're not leaving this area any time real soon.

You know Brandon redoing a house can be quite rewarding. Our last was in horrible shape when we got it, me and Amy redid every room. Laying ceramic was my favorite thing and it's really not hard to do.
