I finally took the Uniquarium of storage and polished it up. Using Novus polish i managed to get every scratch out without much effort. Most of the scratches came from rock hitting the acrylic the last time it was setup. TO prevent this from happening in the future i glued every single rock down to form a very solid foundation. I seriously doubt it will ever come apart without a hammer. I used lace rock for the entire tank, mostly from B&B pets. The reason i used lace rock instead of live rock is the past problems i have had from unwanted guest in my tanks. I am going to seed this tank with small rubble from the other tanks.
The thing I like about the lace rock is already i am noticing more places to put my frags and various size holes and crevices make this much easier than my other tanks. Instead of using the AH Supply PC fixtures i have used in the past i decided to go with a 65 watt fixture from pet warehouse that was much cheaper and so far i am satisfied with it.
