mag 9.5 pump for sale or trade

Post by jdmorgan20fan »

I recently bought a used mag 9 pump for my aquarium only to realize its too large for my aquarium. I am needing one much smaller mag possibly a mag 5. If you have one to sell or trade i am very interested. the one is have is used that works perfect and makes no sounds. I will have a pic up soon. If you have any questions, please call me at 251-442-6480, thanks, Jonathan

This is just a thought, but why not throttle the pump back. Contrary to popular belief, throttling them back actually causes them to use less electricity (not more) and can even extend the pump life a bit. By tuning it down a bit, you may even save a bit more electricity beyond the mag 5 running on full.

Eh, well I was late catching the thread, lol. Yeah, all you need is a $5 ball valve and put it in-line to throttle it back.
