Anybody Want Three Orange Anthias?

Post by Redfish »

If I can catch the little b*st*rds, I will have thre orange anthias. I will give them away.

They just destroy the calm occasionally in my otherwise peaceful tank.

Are they P. squamipinnis??? If so, I can see why you are having a problem--and if they are those, I definitely don't want them
I'll take P. bartlettorum over them any day.

I'm not interested in them phil but i want to see some shots of the other fish in your tank. With the butterfly, angel and numerous different wrasse I bet you can come up with some good shots.

They are squammis. They chase each other in the evenings especially (aggressive spawning behavior).

I am going to post some pictures soon Drew. I have added several more fish recently including some very nice wrasses.

I had to take the butterfly out of the tank to treat the bacterial/fungal infection. he did not make it. I have a pair coming that I will quarantine longer this time. In fact anything else I get will be quarantined as I have so much invested in fish right now that I cannot afford to screw up.

You need to get by and see the tank.

yea I stopped in to talk to Dave on tuesday I think it was. He said you got a few wrasses in on that order. I might have to just go with another wrasse in my tank instead of something larger.

I thoroughly enjoy the wrasses. I now have a solarensis, flame pair, lineatus, rhomboid, mystery and pink streak. I would like a pair of rosy fins.

I am going to add the pair of golden butterflys and one more angel.

I cannot decide which angel to add, however.

When I get rid ofthe squammis, I am going to add a group of threadfin cardinals or a pair of higher end anthias like bimaculatus.

If I could hit it big at the poker table again soon I may consider a pair of candy basslets.

They are yours if I can get them into the makeshift bottle trap.
