It's just like a Durso standpipe, it doesn't take up much if any extra space and it keeps the water level dead on. I have a huge downdraft (3 feet tall) that I plan on using if I ever get to do an in wall tank and I will definately have it on that. I am putting one on my Euro-Reef 8-2 this weekend to get a wetter skimmate.

Wanted: to set up a tank again.
Interesting Idea Scott. That would have been great on my last skimmer. Either of the new skimmers do not fluxuate if I set it up. I just want to run them with the gate 100% open. If I close the gate about 30-50% on the beckett skimmer and run only 1 injector, it works great. I just feel like I am wasting potential.
Thanks,
Jeremy

With the loop you an run them wide open, that is the great thing about them. I have a very tall downdraft that I am going to use when (or if) I have room and it will have this set up. The thing is 36 inches tall but only have one tube. If you want to borrow it to try it out you are welcome to it. It doesn't have the Hartford loop plumbing yet but all that couldn't cost more than $20.
