Maybe Acropora caroliniana? I think I have a frag of this but it grows slow and is supposed to be fairly rare (maybe uncommon is a better term).
Wanted: to set up a tank again.

Here is a link to one similar to what i have. I think it is different then the one posted above.

Mine was on the exact same type of base rock. Same as what was posted on reefermadness under the aquacultured stuff. Who knows.. if mine starts to look better it will be one nice coral. I'd say the one that was posted above will get some nice purple to it.
