Well, either it will die, which is unlikely, or it will try and take over. I have to keep the rock that my Red Sea Xenia is on where I can prune it but I can't seem to keep the elongata. Good luck with it.

if it's true about palyothoas being insanly toxic this might be my last day of posting
I went in and pruned some algae and of course rearranged a little. I completely man handled my zoos so...

And I've noticed lately that the sweepers(?) of my Blasstomussa have been out strectched a lot.

I don't know if it's the leather shedding or what, but I have had a bad case of surfice slime going on. Since Ihave no overflow or skimmer to hit the surface, I did the simple solution. Smack on an Aquaclear mini to the top. It took a couple of days for the corals to get used to the new flow, but no scum.
Thinking about upgrading to 2x28 watt lights as well.

So Angel over on nano-reefs went to Water World as well and asked about the same frag. They said it was Galaxy so... ummm...

Still looks like a torch to me. The galaxy corals that I have seen (not many though) had a more encrusting base that the polyps came out of like a pagoda just with larger polyps.

I second the torch guess. Galaxea polyps are much closer together from what I have seen.

You can compare it to the pic of the Xenoia on the same page taken yesterday.
