I just found this site and live in mobile, does this site have a lot of activity these days? I'm new to the hobby and have had my 75 gallon running for right at a year.

sadly this site is basically dead. There are a few sites on Facebook you could look up and get more info on: Gulf Coast Aquarium Keepers. That group does salt and fresh. Then there is Panhandle Reefkeepers for another local one. A store in biloxi that has a facebook site is Just Fish Biloxi where you can get answers to your questions. One other FB group that I know a few people are part of is Farm Boy Reef Club. Panhandle Reefkeepers has their own web site as well and has a few meetings throughout the year.

I have been paying for the site for I am guessing at least 10 years now. I only visit every few months to make sure we have not been hacked. Very likely I will not be paying the renewal this year, which comes up in a few weeks. I do plan on backing up the forum and database just in case I decide later to bring it back.

Yeah, site's been extraordinarily quiet. I guess I really haven't paid attention, either. Heck, I don't even have any of my tanks anymore, so haven't really been frequenting at all.

Well me either. I doubt I will do another tank until a new car is in the yard and a generator is attached to the house, then I may think about it.
