Southdown Sand

Post by KrazyPlace »

I just had to drain my 65G to correct a leak. I thought I would take advantage of this incredibly terrible opportunity to add 2 bags of Southdown sand before refilling. Does anyone have 2 bags I can buy? I'd like to get it by the weekend. Anyone?

I'm happy to say that I'm officially out!

I don't plan on doing another order unless there's a LARGE need for it; The last batch I got was very hard to get totally sold, and I don't want to be stuck with any more of it.

Considering the alternates on sand, that is dirt cheap.

The sand was actually purchased for my brother, who is setting up his tank soon, but I was just trying to help KrazyPlace out a little bit with his predicament. It is actually not for sale, sorry.

If it's ok with you, I'd like to come get it Saturday morning. Send me a PM with your phone number(s).

I have my tank drained and will be putting the sand back in on Saturday. I am accumulating some RO water today/tonight and hope to have the water moving by Saturday night. Thank you very much! If I would have dreamed I'd be doing this, I'd have bought some bags from Josh back when he had some.

Jeff

I apologized Jeff, but I was out of town (in New Orleans) since Friday. Forgot phone charger at home, and didn't think to check messages. Just got back late tonight. Let me know if you still need it.

No problem! Yes I do, the fish are still happily in their new Rubbermaid container. I don't think I can get to you on Monday, but I can come out on Tuesday (late afternoon or early evening). Please PM me your phone numbers and I will call you to make arrangements.

Thank so much!

Hey Jeff, I am off tomorrow, i think. My cell number is the same number you called and left the message. My home number is 228-388-1245. But I prefer the cell phone more. Address is 414 Cachemont Cove, Biloxi, MS 39531. Use Yahoo maps, much better directions. Give me a window of approximate arrival time. Talk to you later.
