I have some live sand

Post by Fishfood »

I'm moving to my new house this weekend and in the process I'm taking out my sand bed and i'm going with a bare bottom tank. I originally put two bags of normal play sand(not southdown) in about a year and a half ago. It seems that every inch of this sand bed is covered with spaghetti worms. I'm going to try to remove many of the snails for my fuge but I'm sure there will be a lot of snails in the sand also. I won't have much time to try to get this to anyone but i'm going to let it sit in a rubbermaid container with a power head on it if anyone wants it sometime. I'd say there is at least going to be 50+lbs. I don't know a price yet but it wouldn't be too much. Let me know if there is any interested and we can work something out.

I have this sand sitting in rubbermaid tubs in the garage with some water and macro. Anyone interested? I'm not sure how much it actually is.
