This is what it will do....not real informative but will give you an idea.

This hack adds a chatbox into your phpBB.

Only registered users can join the chat. Admins can moderate chatroom by some IRC-like commands.

Info:

- Live chat
- Only logged-in users can join chat
- Smilies support
- Use MySQL for backend database
- Admin can kick others with command:
/kick
- Admin can clear the chat history with command:
/clear
- Admin cannot be kicked
- Ready for VietUni (for Vietnamese)
- Included "How to add ChatBox link on overall_header.tpl Guide"

Means it is able to use the Vietnamese alphabet for chat.

Looks like it works, sorry for the 10 minutes of errors, had a left out a bracket !

Certain Pop-Up blockers may stop the chat program since it comes up in it's own window. Mine seems to not mind it, but if it fails to work try to disable your pop-up blocker.

Ok fixed the amount of chat lines to around 80, Xster brought up a nice point that if alot of people are on you may miss alot of the text. The default was 20 lines, way too short.

I found a neat page that has basic phrases in Vietnamese, but it says that they are for speaking only, that in writing they won't make any sense. LOL

I don't know, sometimes it is just jumpy, maybe scale down the buffer back to 20 and see what happens....Or is there another chat client out there that might work better? This is definitely not my cup o tea, I am just an end-user with criticism!! :D
