What do you think needs to be said about this club so that new members have enough information to join, feel comfortable here, attend meetings and know the intentions of the club?

I think it's a great idea! It would certainly make things easier for the newbie, since all we really have are message boards.

I am thinking something like:
Mobile Bay Reef Keepers
Mobile, AL
Monthly meetings held at members houses on a rotaing schedule
No dues or other membership requirements


I really can't think of too much more, that is why I started this thread.
Wanted: to set up a tank again.

Sorry John,
How about: upper Gulf Coast area surrounding Mobile, Al including Gulfport Mississippi for all those hicks out there :wink: :D :D

Of course I'm just kidding but you do make a valid point and I think that it is important that we make sure to include anyone who is willing to make an effort to fit in. A statement like the upper Gulf Coast sounds good to me, what do you think?

Sounds good, but I wqas just kidding. Mobile is the actual core or center of this reef club. I was just being a little anal. :lol: :P
