Thinking about selling
I'm thinking about selling my 100 gal reef. I probably won't be able to sell it as a system, so I'd like to put my livestock out there to get it out of the way. If my prices are too high, let me know, I'll work with you for sure, but I won't tear up my tank to sell a $10 goby.
I haven't added any new livestock for quite some time, animals are in perfect health.
Livestock
Coral, if some prices seem high, they probably come with a decent chunk of rock
2x Big Colony of green candycanes - 40++ heads - $40
Orange/Green Candycanes - 10 fat heads - $40
Green maze brain - ball 4" dia - $40
Pink/Green Hammer - 10 heads - $50
Duncans - 3 or 4 heads - $35
Pink Xenia (can mount if you give me time) - tons - $5 for large stalk a few large rocks covered as well.
Silver Xenia (Hetroxenia) - $40 (On rocks, too delicate to cut)
Green/Brown Paly rocks - $30 or $40
Green Palthythoa Gigantis (HUGE polyps) - 10++ heads - $100 (Can mount for $20/head)
Maroon cap Purple polyps (Brown atm) - 4" diameter - $30
Florescent Green zoa - 15polyps - $20
Maroon zoa (fluoresce) - 40 polyps - $30
Green/Orange Zoa - 15 polyps - $20
Pagoda green/gray 3" dia -$20
Scroll "pink lemonade" when happy, brown now -2" - $10
Other shrooms, polyps, frag bits free with purchase
Fish
One spot foxface - 7" - $20
Kole Tang - 5" - $30
Bluejaw Trigger - 5" - $40
Proven Breeding Pair Ocellaris Clowns (one black one orange) - $80
6-line -3"- $10
3x 3-Stripes - 1.5-2.5" - $10
Target Mandarin - 3" - $10
Lawnmower - 5" - $10
Inverts
Squamosa -6" - $60
Derasa - 6" - $50
2x Skunk Cleaners - $10
Tiger Tail Cuc (medium 4"-12") -$20
Fla. Cuc (Huge 8") - $10
White Pincush Urchin - $5
Olive Snails - free for paying customers if I can find them
Mangroves - $1
Hermits/Snails will go with rock
If it looks like I can't sell the fish, I'll probably change my mind, especially about selling my beloved clams.
If anyone is interested in a turn-key 100gal system, I'd take $1500. Which is a decent deal for a mid/high end mature system in good order. Pics can be had if there is real interest.

Re: Thinking about selling
Well, im in need of snails and hermits and i'd also be interested in the shrimp and blenny as well. I'd love the mandarin, but i would hate to starve the thing to death. I know they can be finicky eaters. Will he eat flake or any other type of food or does he solely eat pods?

Re: Thinking about selling
The mandarin will eat frozen mysis and brine, if he can get to it before other fish. I've had him for about 3 years, and he's been competing with a 6-line the whole time.

Re: Thinking about selling
well, if you decide to sell, i'll take all that i listed including the mandarin. Let me know. I have a 75 with plenty of pods, but just wanted to make sure i wouldn't be hurting the fish. Thanks.

I am interested in some of the zoa colonies and LPS you listed. Also the mandarin if the previous poster does not purchase it. I'll check back on the forum often to watch for updates.

Re: Thinking about selling
I'm interested in the 6 line and possibly the mandrin goby, do you know if it's male or female? I need a male, wanting to try to pair mine up. I was able to get my yellow watchmans to pair as well my scooter blennies to pair. If you can text me and let me know if they are still available.

I've got a few PMs about little stuff, but I can't tear up my tank to get rid of a few fish and make $20. I'll have to put the rock in buckets when I sell fish, so I'm hoping for a bigger order to make the project worth starting. My tank is FULL

Re: Thinking about selling
I want to sell the majority of the livestock before I start selling hardware, the tank is quite full and wouldn't survive long missing components.ray803 wrote:How much Are you looking to sell before you break any of it down?

Re: Thinking about selling
If several different people wanted pieces of your live stock and fish we could probably work it out to all meet at your place on sat or sun sometime during the day and get enough of it out of your way to make it with your while.
I would be interested in the 6 line, the mandarin (if it's a male), and possibly some of the zoas.
Anybody else willing to do something like that? The more people te more likely it is to happen.
Gimme a call or text me. I'm right around the corner from you.

Re: Thinking about selling
I will take all the livestock if you want.
I do not always grow corals, but when I do, I prefer dos acros.
