46 Bowfront

Post by AuroraDrvr »

Probably going to be tearing down my 46 Bowfront holding tank shortly. Unfortunately the fish didn't make it, so I have no reason for the tank, and my storage unit is too full already.

Tank is a standard 46 bowfront, that is in excellent condition with minimal scratching. It is undrilled, but I have a 1.75" bit if you wanted it drilled. Stand was built by myself and father, it's a basic painted black plywood/2x4 stand but it shows pretty good.

Not sure what to ask for it. Make an offer.

Would also consider trading tank for tank on a 30 breeder if anyone had one, or maybe a 20L + ???

Sorry to hear about the butterflies. They were definitely one of the touchier ones. I know some folks that may be interested, so I'll direct them toward this thread.

Yea loosing the Rainfordi hurt to worst. Moral of the story is to not buy POS fish from Petland and expect them to be some-what clean...

As far as the tank goes, I'd also consider trades or partials for some of the follow, I can do it with or without stand, finished or unfinished.

30 Breeder
Koralia or Other Equivalent Powerheads (Only looking for K4's or higher)
"Short" Skimmer for a 90 gal w/ a 24" stand
175W Halide setup
Pair of 36" or 48" Light Fixtures (don't need to be super fancy)

Corals
Sand
Fish
