Anyone ever see the tank at the Orange Beach welcome center? It's setup by reef scapes, although it still lists thier gulf shores #. Anyway I went by there for work a few days ago and they have this LPS I have n idea what it is.
It's skeleton grows in a "wall". At first glance it looks like a combination of a frogspawn and a bubble. The whole skeleton is 1 polyp. It extends about 3" up and on the ends are nickel sized bubbles. But these bubbles have little petrusions coming out. Sort of like it want's to grow tentacles but instead it has little spikey bumps.
I know, great description, but since the holiday weekend is coming up maybe someone will be down there and can clue me in as to what it is.
