Terry, do you have the Windows Media Player set as the default for .wmv files? It plays for me on XP.

From the Windows Media Player tool bar go to Tools then Options. Click on the File Types tab and make sure that the Windows Media audio/video file box is checked.

says it can't load source filter....using player ver 9....I have had problems before with codes not being the same....I have disabled firewall and add smasher....but my home network also has a firewall in the router...might be the problem....not worth going in everytime and turning off....had to open up a port for my web cam in the the router for it to work....oh well....
