Once the lights come on in the tank, it dissappears (hides). I hope I can get a better shot of it in nights to come.

Worm ID Please

I was looking around the tank tonight and this worm (I guess) caught my eye. Can anyone tell me what it is? Is it harmful? Kind of reminds me of pinhead from the movie Hellraiser. I am not the best photographer so maybe you can still make it out.

Thanks,
Jeremy

I agree with the cleaner shrimp solution. I have never had an ick prob while I had a cleaner shrimp in the tank. Lost my cleaner a while back and a couple months later my blue tang started getting ick. Bought a new cleaner and the ick was gone in 2 days. Plus it is neat to watch them pick it off. Je...

A closed loop system is simply where the intake to your pump is the same as the return. An example: water is sucked from the display and returned to the display. The advantage to the closed loop is that the pump always has water in it. It never needs to be primed etc. Another advantage is that the p...

I am leaving for San Diego in about 2 hours. I do not have time to take a photo (plus lights are not on). As soon as I get back (hopefully Friday), I can post a couple pics for you. I notice RM has 1 on their sight right now.

The 23rd is bad for me also as its my wifes and daughters birthday. If I skip out on the birthday, next year I could only celebrate my daughters birthday (since I would most likely be single).

The starfish is on a montipora that encrust on tubeworms. Each peak has a tubeworm inside. I think the correct name is:

Montipora Crassibtuberculata ...or something like that.

I do not have a lot of livestock, but I do like these starfish. They seem to stay in view all the time.

The concern is a little about the rock, alot about the wife. The problem with the rock is that I have many other corals relying on this rock. The rock acts like a foundation piece. I see it as being alot of trouble to take out. I hate to cut the colt cause it may release unwanted toxins in the tank....

Hello Josh, I gave all of the things mentioned away to Andy. I do still have the Colt but it is attached to 3 of my big rocks. Wife likes the Colt so I have to talk her into letting me get rid of it (long story). If you want it and she finally comes around, it is yours. Sorry for being absent, after...
