The guys in saltwater told me they that if I would come in a few minutes before the sale, they would go ahead and box up what I wanted. Then I could just check out at 8.
It'll be good to beat the crowd. Reefers hardly ever get their stuff on sale so I imagine it'll be busy.

Hi Allen,
Is your lunar aqualight still for sale? I would be interested if it is. I was going to buy a 130watt new for about that price. How are the bulbs? Is it 2 10,000's and 2 actinics? -Miguel

You need to start the baby's tanks. That was the first thing my buddy did after he had his little girl. She's 6 mos old now and has a jawfish and a condy. You can't pull her away from it.... Beats a rattler!!!

Thanks for the info... I think my guys would like mountain dew, seein as how mountain are by the ocean. Mountain Dew is commonly accepted of the one of the purest forms of natural goodness. It is also the basis for the whole marine ecosystem.
We're doing to dew.

How often is it done? Is there some target level I'm trying to achieve? I can't just keep dumping this stuff in my tank forever. I'm watching my pH... which is fine. But that's all I could get from the evil instructions.
Help!

RO container

Any suggestions for a container that would hold water from an RO unit? A buddy said I could use his if I could out some good use to it. I just don't know what the RO unit will dump into.

Kalkwasser

The directions I got with my Kalkwasser are cryptic, at best. What's the best way to administer it ( I don't have a drip) When do you know you've put enough in there?

Limpets

I was identifying some hickhikers on a new piece of rock... found a limpet (I think). From what I can tell these guys shouldn't bother anything although I've heard rumors of them hurting zooanthids. Does anyone have any experience with these guys? Will they hurt anything? BTW - Here's a good page ab...

How do you know if your skimmer is adequate?

I got a skimmer from a friend to use on this 33Long project. It's a cheepo kind that doesn't use a powerhead...just bubbles. It's working well, capturing lotsa waste. I just don't know if it's getting enough out of the water. If any of you guys are familiar with this type of skimmer, can you tell me...

Concerns

The thing I'm concerned about is algea that is on a majority of the floor. Is that a healthy sign?
Is it indicative of something wrong?
Should I just let it go?

Also, how long after cycling do you wait for the first water change?

:?:

i'll try to find my camera and post an image

Need snails and advice

Hey guys, If any of you have any snails you want to get rid of, I'm in desperate need. I'm getting a tank started and can't afford to buy them at B&B. I've already spent way too much money over the last two weeks. Thing is I need them fast. Got some gunk building up (Algea and whatnot) Just to g...
